Policies, in plain words
What to expect before you book.
Booking and deposits
Book online at any hour, or call. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday to Saturday for brows, lip, chin and underarms. Family blocks of three or more people take a deposit to hold the times; it goes toward your services.
Canceling and running late
Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. If you run more than 15 minutes late, we may shorten your visit, because the time after yours is booked for someone else.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a visit without telling us, a deposit on that visit is kept. We're glad to rebook you, and we'll ask for a deposit on the next one.
Children and companions
We wax clients 12 and older and do facials for clients 13 and older. Anyone under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who signs for the visit and waits in the front. Companions are welcome in the front, not in the room.
Patch tests and allergies
Waxing doesn't need a patch test, but we try a new facial product on a small spot first. Tell us about sensitivities and allergies when you book, on the booking page, and your esthetician will plan around them.
If you're not happy
If a visit didn't go as you expected, tell us within a week and we'll look at it together and talk through what comes next.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay, at the desk or on the booking page.
Before your visit
Come with clean, dry skin and no lotion on the area. Hair about a quarter inch long is easiest to wax, so skip shaving for two weeks first, and we'll tell you at booking if anything else applies to your service.
When to ask your doctor first
If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book. Tell your esthetician at the visit, so she can plan around it.
Book a time
Choose a time on the booking page, or send a message and we'll reply by text or email.
