Questions

Questions before you book

Can I just walk in?

For brows, lip, chin and underarms, yes, Tuesday to Saturday. The walk-in list closes 45 minutes before we close. Everything else is by appointment, so your time is held.

Can we all be booked together?

Yes. Ask for a family block when you book and we'll line up back-to-back times with different estheticians, so everyone is done in one afternoon. Blocks of three or more take a deposit.

How long should my hair be?

About a quarter inch, or the length of a grain of rice. Skip shaving for about two weeks before. If it's shorter, tell us; we may suggest waiting.

Where do I start with the facials?

The Express facial is 30 minutes and fits between other things. The Classic facial is 60 and includes extractions where your skin allows. Results vary, and your esthetician tells you what she notes.

What do you do to keep tools clean?

A new wooden spatula for every pass, and tweezers and scissors that come out of a sealed pouch for each client. Surfaces are wiped between visits, and the bed gets a fresh paper sheet.

What should I do after a wax?

For two days, skip hot baths, saunas, tanning and hard exercise, wear loose clothes and put sunscreen on outside. Don't scrub. There are more notes on the prep and aftercare page.

Who should ask a doctor first?

If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book. Tell your esthetician at the visit.

How does pricing work?

Prices aren't printed on this site. They depend on the service, how long it takes and any add-ons, and the booking page shows them when you choose a service, before you confirm.

How do cancellations work?

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. Family blocks and the Classic facial take a deposit that goes toward your services, and it stays with your booking if you move in time.

Can my teenager come?

We wax clients 12 and older and do facials for clients 13 and older. Anyone under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who signs for the visit and waits in the front.
